1,4-Butanedio

    1,4-Butanediol (BDO)

    is a high-purity, low-moisture diol and the optimal choice as a chain extender for polyurethanes. It appears as a colorless transparent liquid and turns into a white waxy solid at low temperatures, offering excellent reactivity and stability.

    Widely used in polyurethane elastomers, polyester polyols, PBT engineering plastics, γ-butyrolactone (GBL), N-methylpyrrolidone (NMP) and other solvents/plasticizers, as well as pharmaceutical intermediates and electroplating brighteners. As a key diol component in high-quality COPES thermoplastic elastomers, BDO is an extremely versatile basic chemical raw material.
